What Orchid For Growing In Warm Climates, Countries?

Hello. My name is Miriam Callender. I live in Nassau, Bahamas.

I am trying to find out what are the best Orchids to grow in this area. I would prefer not to pot them but to grow them in the ground.

I understand the concept of not too much light. I live on a lake.

Should I plant them in my back yard which is shaded with trees?

Also what should I feed them, what fertilizer should I use?

I got an Orchid for a gift and I tied it to my Mango tree after the flowers died. It grew into a beautiful flower.

I noticed that the roots are now grown into the tree, but it is beautiful.

Can I remove it or should I leave it onto the tree?
