What About Cooling A Phalaenopsis Orchid If It Already Has A Spike?

Hi, I have a spike on my orchid it has been about 2 inches long for the last 2 months, just doesn't get any longer. In reading your column it states a cool place for 3 weeks maybe this will help? |
